Prohibition on importing e-cigarettes containing vaporiser nicotine from 1 July 2020
Dear Vapepenzone users,
On 19 June 2020, the Australian Government has announced that they intend to ask the Governor-General in Council to amend the Customs (Prohibited Import) Regulations from 1 July 2020, prohibiting the importation of e-cigarettes containing vaporiser nicotine.
This means that you may not import e-cigarettes containing vaporiser nicotine after 1 July 2020.
We are not sure whether we can ship nicotine pods to Australia or not if the Governor-General agrees to make the regulations.
We have confirmed with our logistics team that, orders made before 28th June, can be delivered to Australia before 1st July. And we will suspend shipping nicotine pods to Australia until this new law has been clarified.
If the Governor-General agrees to make the regulations, we will only provide nicotine free pods in the Australian market.
Once again, please do stock your nicotine pods before 28th June, we will keep you posted about this new law.
